| Our annual Keuring took place June 22, 2018. We inspected 3 colts as well as 2 maiden mares. Both mares, San Dorina and Wild Calla Lilly entered the main mare book. Special Edition by Stibby Me out of Dona Florena recieved Premium status, entered into the Weser-Ems registry, and was given an Elite foal status. Inspector Holly Simenson commented this colt is "amazing" and the ideal colt for the German auctions and therefore was site champion. Feurst Scholar by Furesten Look out of Night Rhodes recieved his Premium status. For Keeps by For Romance out of Royal Lumiere also recieved his Premium status and also wowed Holly. She also gave this colt an Elite status. As always we could not have pulled it off without the help of my family, Dr. Newell, Mary Messenger (photographer), and Louise Rascoe with Longview Sport Ponies.

Our foals were all awarded a premium status, with a foal of distinction and site chamption awarded to Wellsmont Farm's Royal Moment. Royal Moment is by Feurstenball out of Royal Lumiere. | We are happy to announce that our annual GOV Keuring went off without a hitch! We presented San Adelle (St. Pr. St. Stella IF X Don Delux), Royal Addition (Royal Lumiere X Feursten Look), Face Me (Face The Music X Stibby Me), and Patriot (Cienna Mint X Pablito). All four of our foals recieved Premium status and San Adelle recieved a Foal of Distinction award as well. We love seeing all of the lovely and well bred foals who come to our farm every year. Cannot wait to do it all again in 2017!

We are pleased to say that our annual GOV inspection was a success! All of the horses and foals that were presented this year recieved positive feedback. Wellsmont's very own Dona Amour recieved a 'premium' rating as well as the 'foal of distinction.' Inspector Holly Simenson also awarded Dona Amour with another high score award. Some of the pictures taken at the inspection will be displayed in our photo gallery.

Karen Rourk and Royal Tanza competed in Raleigh this June. Tanza recieved superior ratings from the judges and won her classes. We are so proud of her!

We are beyond pleased to annouce that we bred one of the Top Oldenburg Foals of 2012. Sir Florencio was awarded this status by Oldenburg just this week (February 4, 2012).

Sol Star was Reserve Champion Stallion/ Gelding for the CDS Sport Horse Year End Awards and is also 23rd in the nation for USDF in his divison. Congrats to both Sol Star and his owner, Elizabeth, on their accomplishments! We are very proud and hope to hear more on Sol Star's success soon!

The Oldenburg inspection hosted at our farm in July was very succesful. Eight foals were presented for inspection, seven of which were awarded premium. All four foals representing Wellsmont Farm were awarded premium (Sir Florencio, Royal Society, Carliamint, & Forever Sweet). Sir Florencio was also awarded as a 'Foal of Distinction'.
